Candace Prescott, MS
Resident Therapist (GA)

Hello there! I’m Candace, originally from Philadelphia, PA. I love listening to music, dancing, traveling, getting lost in a good book, and spending quality time with my family and friends.

From a young age, I was fascinated by people—their emotions, behaviors, and how they reacted to the world around them. That curiosity led me to study psychology, and eventually, to a career in the mental health field as a therapist.

Like many of my clients, I’ve experienced trauma. For a long time, I didn’t realize how much of it I was carrying with me, or how it was shaping my behaviors and decisions. One day, everything caught up with me, and I broke down. That breaking point led me to therapy, and I’ve been choosing therapy ever since. Through that process, I’ve been healing, growing, and doing the inner work to show up as the best version of myself in this chapter of life.

I take an eclectic approach to therapy, tailoring each session to meet the unique needs of my clients. I work with adults, individuals, couples, and members of the LGBTQ+ community who are navigating challenges such as depression, anxiety, sexual identity, parenting, shame, trauma, self-esteem, life transitions, stress, and relationship issues, among others. I’m passionate about helping others process their trauma and pain so they can begin building the life they truly want, rather than continuing to live a life shaped by past experiences.

Serenity Quant, MS, LAPC
Resident Therapist (GA)

Heyyyy, I’m Serenity.

I am a Miami, FL native with a Jamaican and Bahamian background. specialize in working with clients who are ready to embrace meaningful change and step into their fullest potential. Many come to me eager to cultivate self-worth, shift limiting beliefs, and transform relationship patterns as they create a more fulfilling, empowered life.

If you’re navigating anxiety, depression, sexual trauma, or relationship and family struggles, I’m here to help. With a background as a yoga instructor, I emphasize mind-body awareness in my work, especially for clients who have experienced trauma. Together, we might explore grounding techniques, breath work, or how your body holds stress and emotional pain. My goal is to help you feel more connected to yourself and confident in facing life’s challenges.

In addition to individual therapy, I work with couples—including those in diverse relationships such as polyamorous or interracial partnerships—on issues of intimacy, connection, and trust. I also support families in navigating conflict, grief, and blended family dynamics, helping them find greater harmony and understanding.

My approach is rooted in compassion, honesty, and support. Therapy with me is not about “fixing” you but about helping you come home to yourself. Together, we’ll work to break unhelpful cycles, build healthier habits, and strengthen your mind-body connection. You’ll develop tools to honor your needs, unravel limiting beliefs, and create a life that feels more aligned with who you truly are.

Destiny Combs, MS
Resident Therapist (GA)

Hi there, I’m Destiny! As a therapist, authenticity is at the heart of everything I do. My personality and profession go hand in hand. I show up as my full self in each session, creating a space where clients feel seen, supported, and safe to grow. Outside of my role, I love spending time with loved ones, binging my favorite shows, and exploring new places.

I specialize in working with young adults and adults navigating anxiety, depression, and major life transitions. My approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which focuses on the connection between thoughts, behaviors, and emotions, empowering clients to make meaningful changes in their daily lives.

Together, we work to understand emotions, manage mood and anxiety symptoms, and strengthen coping skills by supporting each person in building resilience and deeper self-awareness. Supporting others on their journey to wellness isn’t just my profession, it’s my passion. I look forward to walking alongside you on the path to healing and growth.

Sumaiya Kaleem, MS,
Resident Therapist (GA)

I was born in Hyderabad, India and raised in Atlanta, GA since I was 7 years old. My folks got off at Hartsfield Jackson airport and decided to never leave the state.

Growing up I always felt like a person stuck between two different worlds and two different identities as an Indian and as an American. With values focused intensely on family and culture I struggled often to blend seamlessly between the two identities and often relied on code switching. Which is why one of my passions as a counselor is focusing on immigrants and second-generation immigrants trying to find a balance in life. Working on self-identity issues and navigating young adult life is another facet of my work. Alongside navigating generational trauma and dysfunctional family dynamics.

Other clients I see are neurodivergent individuals with Autism and ADHD or sometimes both. It is often hard to live in a world which was not designed for you. Learning to cope with everyday challenges and not only being able to succeed but thrive while embracing the strengths and weaknesses that come with neurodivergence was a long journey for me. I hope to be able to help my clients to do the same but with a guiding hand.

I also see clients from all walks of life from gender, sexual, to racial identities. I provide LGBTQ affirming and culturally sensitive care. I’m passionate about reducing the stigma around mental health and brings cultural humility and inclusivity to every session. When I’m not providing therapy, I’m often enjoying romance books, playing video games, or being coerced into feeding my cats an early third dinner.

Sterling James, MS, LAPC
Resident Therapist (GA)

Born and raised in a small town in Virginia my career in mental health started shortly after graduating from Marshall University with a B.A. in Psychology. After working for multiple years developing behavioral plans for intellectually disabled and neurodivergent individuals I decided counseling was the best route to help the communities I care the most about. I recently graduated with my masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and have been seeing clients for over a year. My approach includes providing a safe space for clients of all ages, races, sexualities, and diagnoses, to allow them to be vulnerable enough to challenge their intimate thoughts.I am very passionate about helping all walks of life navigate their daily challenges from anger to anxiety to grief. My sessions aim to help clients put themselves in the present “now” while working towards understanding their past and proactivity towards their future. I also provide group sessions for college students, adolescent boys, and young men.

Siva Lan Chen, MS, LAPC
Resident Therapist (GA)

Hello there, I am Siva. I came from a cozy little town near Wuhan, China where summers are scorching, street food is an absolute delight, and people are refreshingly straightforward. I love food, hiking and nature! For many years, I have been immersed in the worlds of management consulting and human resources, traveling across the world to meet with interesting people from diverse background. Gradually I started to uncover my true passion for mental health counseling, where I get to engage in meaningful one-on-one encounters that paint life with vibrant colors.

I firmly believe that therapy is a profound meeting of souls, a space where healing, growth, and flourishing are possible. My mission is to help individuals unearth their inner strength and resilience. By fostering genuine self-love and self-compassion, we can heal the wounds of the past and rewrite the stories of our lives. My approach is grounded in empathy and informed by emotional focused therapy and trauma-sensitive approach. I support clients in healing attachment wounds and embarking on a fresh journey in life.

My clients come from diverse backgrounds, ranging from high-functioning individuals to underserved communities. I am particularly committed to assisting ethnic minority populations, women who face gender bias, and individuals from immigrant families. Raven Thompson, LCSW
Therapist (GA, FL)

Hey there! I’m a Black, queer, Southern woman and a reformed church girl. I was raised with the values that shape so much of the South: faith, family, and tradition. For a long time, I lived by those expectations; but eventually, I chose to live in a way that honors who I truly am.

It’s the intersection of my identities that informs the heart of my work. I’m a licensed clinical social worker, therapist, and community nurturer committed to creating affirming spaces where Black queer women and non-binary folks can heal, feel seen, and reconnect with their most authentic selves.

I specialize in supporting people who are:

·       Navigating identity shifts and coming home to themselves

·       Grieving familial rejection and unmet expectations

·       Wrestling with the weight of perfectionism

·       Tired of always being the one to hold everything together

Choosing to embrace yourself can feel overwhelming, especially when the world hasn’t always made space for your truth. My work centers emotional safety, attunement, and a return to your own grounded wisdom.

My hope is that after our sessions, you leave feeling just a little more free, more centered, and more affirmed in the truth that you are already good, just as you are.

If you’re ready to reconnect with who you are and live life on your terms, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.Warm Regards,

Jaclyn Tenorio, LMHC, LPC, EMDR- Trained
Therapist (GA, FL)

Hi, I'm Jacky! I was born and raised in Miami, Florida. My favorite things to do always have to do with the outdoors; hiking, swimming, running, and I'm looking to add camping to that list here in Georgia! I am a Dog Person, a Christian, and a Vegan (yes, you can be all of those things - haha). I first learned about mental health and psychology when I went through my own personal trauma as a teenager. Finding therapy a huge relief from the stresses of my adolescent life, I felt like I had finally found my true calling. Since then, I've worked hard to create a career around helping others find that same acceptance and peace that I felt when I finally felt understood by someone; my therapist. My approach will always be at your pace, in your time, and with your goals in mind. I am ready to support you as you learn about yourself, be there with you as you feel your feelings, and help you find your way to yourself again.
